Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology

Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology is a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiology practice run by Dr Paul Brooks.  Our patients include children from birth to 18 years, as well as women whose fetuses have suspected or confirmed heart disease.

Dr Brooks also works at Western Hospital in Paediatric Cardiology and the Fetal Management Unit and provides an on-call service for central Melbourne private Obstetric Hospitals. He performs private Fetal Echocardiography sessions each week in Richmond and visits several other private Obstetric ultrasound groups as required for Fetal Cardiology consultation.

Prior to establishing Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology, Dr Brooks was the Head of Echocardiography and Fetal Cardiology at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He trained and worked at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne prior to moving to Canada.

All tests continue to be performed and interpreted on the day of consultation by a Paediatric Cardiologist informed by history and clinical examination.
