Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology

Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology is a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiology practice run by Dr Paul Brooks.  Our patients include children from birth to 18 years, as well as women whose fetuses have suspected or confirmed heart disease.

Dr Brooks also works at the Western and Northern Hospitals, and provides an on-call service for central Melbourne private Obstetric Hospitals including Frances Perry House, Epworth Freemasons and St Vincent's Private. He visits several of the large private Obstetric ultrasound groups offering Fetal Cardiology consultation.

 

Prior to establishing Melbourne Paediatric Cardiology, Dr Brooks was the Head of Echocardiography and Fetal Cardiology at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He trained and worked at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne prior to moving to Canada.

All tests continue to be performed and interpreted on the day of consultation by a Cardiologist informed by history and clinical examination.
